Statement: I also translate from Catalan. I have lived in Spain for over half my life and clients can rest assured I will reflect and clearly communicate their original intentions. Perfectionist in my work, I offer fully corrected translations. I am the go-to translator for various Catalan record labels specialising in contemporary classical music. In the visual arts, specialisations are Catalan Modernism and the European avant-garde. Drama and poetry (Stephen Spender Prize 2021 commended) are my passions, and poetry translations have appeared in magazines.
As a teacher I am demanding, patient and kind and have a good sense of humour. (I do not offer exam preparation.)
