Statement: I have many years’ experience in translating, particularly in the areas of art history, architecture and art catalogues. Other areas include typography and medieval Islam. The works I have translated are generally of a fairly academic nature which means paying particular attention to footnotes and references and referencing English translations of academic works when necessary. I am able to draw on the resources of the National Library of Scotland, the University of Edinburgh Library and the reference sections of the National Galleries of Scotland.
