Statement: I specialise in the translation of academic transcripts, birth, death and marriage certificates, witness statements, police reports, correspondence between lawyers and their clients, court orders, and statements of claim and statements of defence. I also regularly translate finance documents such as bank statements and tax returns. Before becoming a translator, I worked in corporate law for ten years and this has served me well when it comes to producing idiomatic legal translations. I am committed to producing translations of a very high standard and have a keen eye for the finer details, as well as a talent for producing translations that sound natural in English. I also regularly attend courses and seminars on translation.
