Statement: My main focus now is literary/cultural translation, to match my developing a creative writing career (short stories, two published, and a novel in progress). I've worked on graphic books, a children's book, for a theatre project, and for artists (show texts, webpages); I've also edited two books on homoeopathy and one on arbitration in the Middle East. I continue to cover my specialist fields (from decades of experience) of criminal and international law, human rights and development, policing/security, and academic texts. As well as my mother-tongues of English and French, and fluent Italian, I have intermediate Arabic and German. I'm also science-literate (1st year BSc. in physics, four science A Levels, New Scientist reader).
