Statement: I am an Anglo-Turkish linguist, raised in a fully bilingual family and environment in the United Kingdom. My areas of specialism and personal interest include law, history (in particular Ottoman history and culture), current and international affairs, politics, media and journalism but I am comfortable in a wide area of subjects including architecture, sociology, archaeology, literature and tourism. I have a BA Honours degree in English Literature and Italian and hold the Diploma in Public Service Interpreting and so am qualified and accredited to interpret and translate within all areas of the British judicial system. I teach and tutor students taking the DPSI Law exam.
