Statement: I hold a Master’s degree in ESOL from the University of Huddersfield and a Bachelor’s from Salahaddin University. Since 2018, I have worked as a Kurdish (Sorani) interpreter in the Criminal Justice System and the Home Office, providing professional interpretation in legal settings. In 2025, I became a Level 3 & 6 DPSI Law Assessor and Examiner. My teaching experience includes being a full-time ESOL Tutor at Ravensthorpe Community Centre - UK (2020–2021), a Teaching Assistant at Mount Pleasant Primary School (2021–2022), and currently a Community Languages Tutor with Kirklees Community Languages (2023–present).
