Born and raised in North America, and resident in the UK for thirty years, I am at home with different forms of English vocabulary, syntax, and pronunciation. For almost a decade I was Director of Italian at Leicester University; as Research and Teaching Fellow at Bristol University, I have lectured and published on French, Italian, and Latin texts. I have interpreted for leading public officials in several countries.
