Statement: I am a native Czech speaker based in the UK with over 25 years experience as a translator/interpreter. I have passed the EU competency test for Translators. I am a memoQ user. I hold the Diploma in Public Service Interpreting, winning the CIOL Corsellis Cup for the best candidate in the Health pathway in 2007. I am also a Public Service Interpreting tutor at Cardiff University - winner of CIOL award for Diploma in Public Service Interpreting - Best Centre in 2018 and 2019. I am dedicated to Continuing Professional Development in a range of subject areas as well as new technologies, expanding my knowledge and skills that I can apply to my work as a professional interpreter and translator, including proofreading and MTPE.
