Cinema trip

The Man Who Killed Don Quixote is a very entertaining film about the problems experienced by Terence Guilliam in his attempt to make a film about Don Quixote. This is a jocular meditation on the pervasive influence of myths, the corrupting nature of power and the insanity of the filmmaking process – the perfect way to spend a Saturday afternoon in February. We will meet at the MAC from 4.00 onwards and have a drink/snack in the bar afterwards giving us a chance to discuss the film and do some networking.

Attendees are to buy their own tickets: https://macbirmingham.co.uk/event/the-man-who-killed-don-quixote

Check out our Facebook and Twitter account to see where we will be sitting so we can try and buy tickets together. Please contact Jane at janemartin@sunflowertranslation.com to let me know if you are coming.
