Statement: I am a native Portuguese interpreter working mainly in the public service sector and other settings for 20 years in the UK. My main area of expertise is in the medical and legal sector, working for the UK government, the NHS, HMRC, DWP, Home Office, the Police and Solicitors. I have an enhanced DBS, NPPV level 3 and police clearance. I have a Languages for Business BA Honours degree, specialising in English and Human Resources. I have taken courses in Public Service Interpreting - Health; Public Service Interpreting - Law; Level 3 Community Interpreting (ASCENTIS); Certificate in Bilingual skills - Health (CIOL).
