Statement: A qualified freelance translator (in both Russian and French to English), I've developed a translation specialism in medico-legal translation, but also work across other business sectors, economics and social sciences. I've extensive experience of the language and cultures at senior levels in government and diplomatic service, including 10 years working in the countries. I'm a foreign alumna of the French Ecole Nationale d’Administration. At an earlier stage in my career I co-translated 4 book length works of French philosophy and film studies (all published by The Athlone Press).
