European Union is recruiting translators and proofreaders on fixed-term contracts
{contact.email_greeting}
The European Union has opened a process to recruit translators and proofreaders on fixed-term contracts to work within the EU institutions, primarily based in Brussels and Luxembourg.
This recruitment process is open-ended and candidates may be called for testing or offered a position at any time. Applicants must be a citizen of an EU member state, so if you are a UK national, you should get your application in before 29 March when the UK leaves the EU (subject to any extension).
Translators must be able to translate from two different official EU languages into one other EU language. Under the current rules, the first of these two source languages must be:
- French
- German
- English (only if the target language is not English)
The second source language may be any other official EU language.
