A group of CIOL members from London and the South East recently enjoyed a convivial pre-Christmas meal at the historic George Inn in Southwark.  Although the time originally booked unhappily coincided with the London Bridge terror attack, the event was rescheduled.  The group covered a range of languages and different skills and most of us had not met each other before.  By the end of the meal we felt we had made new friends, no doubt aided by the cosy surroundings, delicious food and occasional sip of Rioja!   Everyone expressed enthusiasm for getting together again at other social and networking events.
