In April 2019 HM Revenue & Customs introduced Making Tax Digital for VAT as the first stage of a wider programme to digitise the tax system for businesses and individuals. Ewa Prokop will explain the principal rules and requirements for MTD for VAT and Income Tax.
The talk will also explain the new regulations for off-payroll working (IR35) that will be introduced in the private sector in April 2020 and how to use the Check Employment Status For Tax (CEST) tool.
