Event report

The Midlands Network’s second AGM was held at the Polish Millennium Centre in Birmingham. This was followed by a truly fascinating talk by Michael Wells MCIL Chartered Linguist showing just how varied a career you can have with languages. Feeling rather overawed by his splendid career, and with a note to self to try harder in the future, we then adjourned to the Karcszma for a delicious, Polish lunch.

The draft minutes of the AGM are now available for all network members here.

In addition to the Annual General Meeting, the Midlands Network invites special guest Michael Wells MCIL CL to speak about his 30-year career as a translator and interpreter. Michael’s talk will be followed by lunch at Karczsma Restaurant (at own expense).
