Dr Paul Richards was Born and bred in Kings Lynn. He studied for both BA and PhD degrees in History and taught in further and higher education for the College of West Anglia and the Open University.
Paul was a borough councillor (Kings Lynn and Norfolk) and Mayeo (1998-2000) before becoming an Honorary Alderman and Borough Freeman. Paul is a Fellow of the Society of Antiquaries (London) and a Deputy Lieutenant of Norfolk.
