DESCRIPTION:Join the CIOL Interpreting Division (http://www.ci
ol.org.uk/id) for an insightful online session on
 a Reflective Practice Group.\n \n \n \n Public ser
vice interpreters often work in demanding environm
ents and encounter situations that require not onl
y technical skill\, but resilience and judgement a
nd benefit from professional support. Earlier in t
he year\, CIOL and Interpreting Division piloted a
reflective practice group with Pásalo\, providing

ork\, and strengthen their professional practice.
\n \n \n \n This session will draw on what we have

involve more CIOL members. Reflective practice is
widely used in sectors such as health and educati

nd practitioner wellbeing\, and as a means of buil
ding resilience and professional networks. For int
erpreters\, it can also form part of continuing pr
ofessional development and support long-term profe
ssional resilience and career sustainability. \n \
 n \n \n In this webinar we will: \n \n \n \n • Sha
re insights and learning from the CIOL/ Pásalo Ref
lective Practice Group pilot\n \n • Reflect on the
mes from participant feedback and emerging benefit
s\n \n • Discuss options for making reflective pra
ctice groups more widely available to CIOL members
 \n \n • Hold a Q&A to hear members’ views on futur
 e provision \n \n \n \n This will be an open and e
xploratory session. We welcome interpreters and ot
her interested CIOL members who would like to cont
 ribute to shaping this area of work. \n \n \n \n W
ho should attend:\n \n • CIOL Members who are Publ
ic Service Interpreters or have an interest in pro
 fessional development and wellbeing\n \n • Interpr
eters working in other settings who are interested
  in reflective practice \n \n \n \n Why attend: \n
\n Join us to help shape how CIOL develops practi
cal support for interpreters through reflective pr
actice\, building on the evidence and experience f
 rom our pilot work.\n \n \n \n Panellists:\n \n \n
